How much will it cost?

We believe it is important for you to know, in advance, how much you will have to pay when you attend an appointment with Dr Ward.

Consultation fees are eligible for a Medicare rebate if the patient has a valid referral from a GP. To ensure you receive the Medicare rebate, we encourage you to see your GP to obtain a referral well before your appointment with Dr Ward.

You will be required to pay the Full Fee amount (listed below) at the time of the appointment.

If you have a valid referral, we will then lodge a claim with Medicare for the rebate. Medicare will process the claim and deposit the rebate into your nominated bank account usually within three working days.

If you do not have a valid referral at the time of the appointment, you will have to pay the Full Fee and may not be able to claim the Medicare rebate.

Payment Plans are available if needed. Please don’t hesitate to call us to discuss in more detail.
